The Solution

VergeSense revealed that while workstations saw the most
traffic, alternative collaboration spaces were underutilized. Sales
teams preferred to collaborate at their desks with large monitors and
double screens rather than in conference rooms. The team made three
rounds of data-driven changes.

First, they removed temporary desks and pods, replacing them
with traditional desks for immediate needs. Second, they used VergeSense
heatmaps to identify furniture that wasn’t working and rebalanced
density between the North and South sides. Third, they built out a
new executive area and continued measuring its effectiveness.
