The Challenge

Bread Financial was implementing neighborhood-based
workspace concepts to support hybrid work, but needed a
method for designing, validating, and iterating on neighborhoods
that went beyond intuition. They wanted to build neighborhoods
based on real work patterns, rather than organizational charts.

The Solution

Bread Financial deployed VergeSense to measure neighborhood-level utilization and used the data to develop an iterative, systematic approach to space planning. Neighborhoods were built considering team leader input, types of work, collaboration patterns, survey data from ambassadors, and live occupancy intelligence.
